The resort opened in 2021 on the cliffs above Cala Xarraca, a sheltered bay on Ibiza's northern coast. Rooms, suites and villas look across the cove, and the design uses local stone, timber and white walls. There is a farm garden that supplies the kitchens, a large spa and wellness program, and a strong music and arts calendar.
The bay below is good for swimming, snorkeling and paddleboarding, and boats can take you along the north coast to coves that are hard to reach by road. Ibiza's old town, Dalt Vila, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and inland villages like Sant Joan and Santa Gertrudis have good markets and restaurants. The island is a short flight from most of Europe.
Six Senses Ibiza suits couples and families who want a resort with plenty going on, but away from the party towns. The beach is a rocky cove rather than a long stretch of sand. Ibiza is busy in July and August, and we would check dates if you plan a trip in the winter months.
Six Senses Ibiza sits above Xarraca Bay on the quiet north coast of Ibiza, far from the clubs of the south. Rooms and suites face the sea across a rocky cove. It suits couples and families who want Ibiza's beauty, music and food with a wellness focus.
