The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba

Palm Beach, Aruba

The resort opened in 2013 on Palm Beach, and all of its rooms and suites have balconies, most facing the sea. It has a large spa, several pools including an adults-only pool, a kids' club, a casino and several restaurants and bars. A Club Lounge serves food and drinks through the day for guests on club floors.

Palm Beach has soft white sand and gentle water that is good for swimming, and the trade winds make Aruba popular for windsurfing and kitesurfing. You can snorkel the reef and the wreck of the Antilla off Malmok, explore the cactus desert and rocky coast of Arikok National Park, and visit Eagle Beach and the town of Oranjestad. Aruba lies outside the main hurricane belt, which makes it a good choice in late summer and autumn.

The Ritz-Carlton suits families and couples who want a polished beach resort with plenty on site. Palm Beach is a developed strip of high-rise hotels, restaurants and shops, so it is lively rather than secluded. Queen Beatrix airport is about 25 minutes away by car.

The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba is a large beachfront resort at the northern end of Palm Beach, on Aruba's calm west coast. It suits families and couples who want a full-service resort, dependable sunshine and an easy flight from much of the US.
