The hotel opened in January 2020, with hotel rooms, suites and residences. There is an onsen fed by local hot springs, a spa, a pool, a kids' club and several restaurants. Many rooms face Mount Yotei.
You ski from the hotel onto Hanazono's runs, and the Niseko United pass covers Grand Hirafu, Niseko Village and Annupuri on the same mountain. Hanazono is known for tree skiing and easy access to powder. In summer the area offers rafting, cycling, golf and hiking. New Chitose Airport is about two and a half hours by road.
Park Hyatt Niseko suits families and couples who want a polished hotel on the slopes. Hanazono is quieter than Hirafu, with fewer restaurants within walking distance, so you will use taxis or shuttles in the evenings. January and February book early, and Chinese New Year is very busy.
Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono is a ski-in, ski-out hotel at the base of Hanazono, the quieter northern side of Niseko. It opened in 2020 and looks across the valley to Mount Yotei.
