Les Airelles is part of the Airelles group, which also runs hotels in Gordes, Saint-Tropez and at Versailles. The interiors are richly decorated, with painted ceilings and carved wood, and there are rooms, suites and apartments for larger families, a spa with a pool, and several restaurants.
The hotel sits on the slope, with its own ski shop and instructors arranged in house, and a kids' club that runs through the day. From the door you ski into Les 3 Vallées, with Méribel and Val Thorens within reach. Geneva is about two and a half to three hours by road, and the altiport is a few minutes away.
Les Airelles suits families who want everything handled, from boots to lessons. The decor is ornate and not to every taste, and rates are very high in peak weeks. It is open only for the winter season, roughly December to April.
Les Airelles is a ski-in, ski-out hotel in the Jardin Alpin at Courchevel 1850, built in the style of a storybook Austro-Hungarian palace. It is known for its family focus and its in-house ski service.
