The resort opened in 2019 and steps down a wooded hillside on the edge of Pinzolo over nine levels, built with local wood and stone. All of the accommodation is in suites, each with a private sauna, and there are private residences as well. The spa covers about 5,000 square meters, with a heated indoor-outdoor infinity pool, a salt-water pool, saunas and treatment rooms based on Chinese medicine.
Dolomia is the all-day restaurant, and Grual is the hotel's tasting-menu restaurant. In winter the hotel runs a shuttle to the Pinzolo cable car, part of the Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta, which links Pinzolo with Madonna di Campiglio and Folgarida-Marilleva. In summer the same lift climbs to Doss del Sabion at about 2,100 meters, with walking trails and views across the Brenta range.
Lefay suits couples and wellness-minded travelers who want time in the spa as much as on the slopes. Pinzolo is a smaller, quieter village than Madonna di Campiglio, and reaching the main ski area means a lift ride over from Pinzolo. Verona, Bergamo and Milan airports are each a long drive away, so plan on at least four nights.
